Here are the earliest photos I have of Ransom Gillis in her primeval state. I got a bunch of photos just before the first attempt at redeveloping Brush Park began in 2003. At that time they cleared the vegetation from around Ransom Gillis and fenced it off. Later it would be mothballed with a new roof and a lot of masonry work. Since then it has been sitting around doing nothing but having it’s picture taken, and being in Hollywood movies. Time for this house to be a house again, as a renovation effort is currently underway after all these years.
As you can see, what was left over after years of abuse was not much of the original house.
