I went to morning mass at St. Albertus today – what a fantastic sanctuary !
St. Albertus was part of what once was the primary Polish neighborhood in Detroit – Long before Hamtramck.
Many of the women and girls dressed in stunning traditional Polish clothing.
The stained glass is all gorgeous – I believe this is Veronica washing Christs feet.
Heres the organ and pipes at the rear of the sanctuary.
They only have mass once a month after being cut loose from the Archdiocese.
