all who wander are not lost

Here is a short of the north wing before it was dug into.

And now.

Look at the David Stott – standing there all nervous, staring down into the gaping mess that used be the Lafayette Building.

The Stott has to be thinking, “if they’ll do that to the Lafayette, will I be far behind ?”

Oops. Starting to be more broken windows.

  • the criteria:
    “can we afford it?”

    “is it an election year?”

  • Well – thats the big question. I wouldnt think any structure would rank against MCS or Packard for needing to be torn down first. Yet instead we get Tiger Stadium and Lafayette.

  • What criteria does the city use in deciding to tear a building down? No chance of redevelopment or that it’s becoming a public harard?
