all who wander are not lost

Here is a book and a website that both Nailhed, and myself recommend very much – Hudson Valley Ruins.

I had the pleasure of guiding Robert Yasinsac through the city of Detroit while he was here. Rob is not just a photographer and historian, he is also – straight up – a Wings and Tigers fan. (He did in fact catch a game while he was here too). We had a great time, we met lots of very friendly people everywhere we went, it was a good day.

  • Thanks for the link. What an amazing site with terrific images.

  • Rome probably didnt have books about its own ruins before it fell…lol

    what an odd thought

  • Denver Portrait Photographer – yes it sure is. Difficult to appreciate the devastation to our industrial and also medical and mental health care facilities across the nation – without looking at a range of websites like mine, and like Robs. It is an undeniable issue of importance, both historically, and for the near distant future.

  • Oh, you got it Yaz, its an honor to present your work on the site ! Lemme know how the traffic is going, you should get a good flow from the links I put out – the Facebook peeps REALLY dug the link and are checking out the book, you should get a little bump in numbers there.

  • Man it’s so wild to see the current state of the country. It’s so sad.

  • Thank you Randy for all the PR!! I appreciate it!!
