The amazingly intact glass house

Dozens of dead fire plugs surround the Piquette/Studebaker block.

Heres a good one – I guess they thought it was okay to bury this hydrant in concrete.

The buckling corner of the Medical Records building which also caught fire during the blaze

Glass block from the top floor windows that had to be broken out to gain access to the fire.

In the Piquette Market courtyard, trucks and containers lay open to looters

  • I rode my bike there today…it stinks like rotting corpses over there… maybe it’s all that meat from the Piquette Market???
I wonder how long it will take to get them to clean that shit up…

  • Yeah, I think that was some of their storage space – like rented storage. The stuff inside that was left looked like peoples personal junk and photographs. One had church pews in it. I woulda bought one of those, they looked sweet !

  • What were those open containers for? Storage for the market?
