Yes – school documents with identification on them blowing around on the sidewalks outside the building.

Some of those textbooks look brand new. For a school system hurting for money, you’d think Detroit would be better about salvaging materials that are still usable.
Amazing. Judging by the materials left over, it looks like it it could’ve been used yesterday.
Just sad.
