This is the left panel of a stereogram photo I have. Its a precursor to something like those Viewmaster things we had as kids with the round wheel of little photos that went in the viewer.
Anyway, its a pretty cool view of Downtown quite some time ago…
Over by Belle Isle we can see the smoke stack for Uniroyal
Look at Fort-Shelby hotel – it still has all its little decorations around its edges.
The mammoth Hudson’s building, a thing of Detroit legend.
The Penobscot is the tallest building downtown by far still.
The Book Cadillac Hotel, in perfect working order.
