DETROIT (WXYZ) – About 30 members of the Friends of Riverside Park and the Detroit Parks Coalition took wire cutters to a fence put up by the company that runs the Ambassador Bridge as a move to reclaim what they feel belongs to the public. (“what they feel” ? Come on, WXYZ)
Well, this is a very badly written article – but you get the basic story. The Ambassador Bridge company decided to commandeer parts of a public part owned by the people of The City of Detroit. There has been a fence cutting through the park, ball fields were destroyed, and FAKE (illegal) “Homeland Security” signs were made by the Ambassador Bridge company and put on the fence to scare people away. This illegal fence has been up for years, and goons from this private company will swoop down on you if you try to even stand in this park to take a photograph of the clearly visible Ambassador Bridge, which is a landmark and tourist attraction.
“It’s time for the community to take a stand, and not have the Billionaires have all the say,” said member Joe Rashid.

Here is one of the Ambassador Bridge company’s fake “Homeland Security” signs, this is one of several they had placed on their unsecured, dangerous and abandoned Michigan Central Station building. Again, these are forged Federal signs – made by a private company in order to use the threat of Federal authority to scare away trespassers.

Here is an example of how much property was stolen by this company – an entire soccer field was torn up as a result. The white line surrounds the confiscated land.
